A modern learning environment for students & athletes
NAILSEA SCHOOL
ASPIRE. BELIEVE. SUCCEED.
Nailsea School was re-built in 2009 to reflect a bright, modern centre of learning. Many of the classrooms and staff bases have glass walls creating openness and visibility around the school. Our vision at Nailsea School is to be a nurturing community where students are valued and supported to reach their full potential, developing the skills and qualifications needed for future success.
TRAVEL & LOCATION
Nailsea and Backwell railway station is a 15-minute walk from the School and has direct links from both Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare. Nailsea School is also fortunate enough to be on a main bus route that services many of the towns across North Somerset and is situated within 3 minutes’ walk of Nailsea’s shopping centre.
NAILSEA SIXTH FORM
The Sixth Form has a vibrant learning community with a range of educational opportunities. Students learn to work independently and are encouraged to think widely about their future aspirations.
Our self-contained Sixth Form area is designed to support the independent learning of our older year groups, with group and individual study areas. Students can also benefit from three catering service points including the main cafeteria, situated just beyond the Atrium, where a variety of hot meals and snack are served.
SPORTS FACILITIES
The school boasts a sports field with running track, two hard courts or Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs), which are set up for Tennis/Netball. In addition to the MUGAs there is a fully floodlit, 4G pitch which can be used for Hockey or Football. There is also a large Sports Hall which can accommodate a variety of sports such athletics, gymnastics and trampolining, as well as a variety of ball sports. It is often used for end of term assemblies, accommodating the whole school.

STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE
Professional football academies across the globe are increasingly using performance analysis to optimise the learning environments they create for their players.
We want to create that same experience for our students here at Priority Football Academy; allowing them to get to grips with the tools and resources used in the professional game whilst working alongside coaches and analysts with decades of experience in the sports industry.
Interested students can now apply to study a Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise, in the 2023 academic year, with Priority Football Academy.
